You want to found a social business? We get you on track!


The SocialPitch@Sens is your opportunity to pitch your idea or social business in front of a high class jury of investors and industry experts. After the application deadline (1st of April), we will select the five best social startups to attend the conference and pitch in front of a small audience including jury members. You will have 5 minutes to convince the jurors of your idea and 10 more to answer their questions. This year's jury will host representatives from Good Profits, Tengelmann Social Ventures, Social Entrepreneurship Akademie, Haniel Stiftung, SEND e.V., ISSO Lab and firma.de.
This year's pitch winner will receive € 1,000 in cash and will be granted three months of office space usage in Berlin by our partner firma.de. In addition, the winning team will be granted direct access to the expertise of our partner Social Entrepreneurship Akademie . This way, it will benefit from a custom consultation by an experienced coach who will provide answers to the most pressing questions and all the support one could wish for to get to the next level.
A regional winner of the SocialPitch will get access to a fully equipped office (25 sqm, including utilities and internet connection, usage of meeting rooms and of the DesignThinking studio as well as access to the local startup ecosystem) in the Technologie Zentrum Koblenz for three months free of charge.

  • Wait for a confirmation

    After the application closes on April 1st, 2018 we will notify and invite the best applicants to pitch at SensAbility.

  • Pitch!

    You will have 5 minutes to convince the jurors of your idea and 10 more to answer their questions. The Pitch will be on April 6th, 2018.

Focused on projects tackling education and promoting young talent the Haniel Stiftung supports social entrepreneurs with about two million euros every year and consultative advice.

ISSO|lab is the creative center of the institute and home to the alternative Social Entrepreneurship Scene in the Koblenz region. They offer a space where environmental and cultural initiatives interact with representatives of the local economy, designers and other drivers of change. Envisaging a more sustainable and social future they support individuals and teams that integrate those topics in their concepts to provide an alternative way to start a business.

With their slogan „Social Impact First, Financial Impact Second“ Tengelmann Social Ventures is a social impact investor that focuses on financing social businesses and supporting social entrepreneurs both financially and with professional consulting. Currently, there are five clear projects, using the model of mobile solar energy. Profits are generated immediately after implementation and without intensive investments directly from a cheap source of solar power. Torsten Schreiber’s experience in implementing, developing and successfully running a social business is what makes him one of leading experts in the jury.
