In 2015 Sebastian Grothaus founded Good Profits, which is an investment fund for social businesses and offers very easy, fair and clear investment conditions. Sebastian, who has been studying everything related to financial education for many years, wants to be a role model. Good Profits aims at combining good returns with doing good and has already provided capital to companies such as Africa GreenTec. or Tennant Company. This is clearly a great possibility for investors to fund businesses that make the world a better place. Last year the two CEOs Sebastian and his colleague Dirk Stiller have been part of the jury of our Social Pitch and we look forward to welcoming Sebastian again this year!

We are proud to announce Holger Heinze as one of our FuckUp Session speakers at the SensAbility – The WHU Social Enterprise Conference 2018! In 1999 Holger founded his first Startup Global Network Interactive and afterwards went through various consulting positions, for instance at IBM, Cassini Consulting or the Belize Tourism Industry Association after becoming a freelance consultant. In early 2014 he founded Monagoo, an online shop selling exclusively sustainable products. They considered the entire production chain to make sure, every product has been produced entirely sustainable. By 2015 they had made 6 figure revenues, won an award from the German Government’s Council for Sustainability (Award des Nachhaltigkeitsrates der Bundesregierung) and had grown to over 12.000 articles in their shop. Then they closed the shop, avoided bankruptcy by millimeters and turned Monagoo into a consulting/coaching hub for social entrepreneurs. Today, Holger is the lead e-commerce experience consultant for webweit.de and a guest professor for entrepreneurship at the Mannheim University of Cooperative Education. We are excited to welcome him at the SensAbility – The WHU Social Enterprise Conference on April 6 & 7, 2018.
